![]() For the Japanese line, the suffering ends when you get Nagato at tier 7. Dispersion doesn't really tighten up until tier 9, where your accuracy goes from good on the North Carolina to great on the Iowa. This isn't something that skill can compensate for, unfortunately. Generally speaking, American battleships have terrible dispersion until you get the North Carolina. I was just hoping I was personally doing something wrong that could be improved, whether with experience, higher tiers, or just overall ability. Just overall I'd rather deal lower damage per hit and have all land, than deal higher damage per shot and have one land. But I rarely get sinks and never more than 36 hits in one match. I have good games, it's not that I do terrible. (I know the mechanics behind HE and AP, was just doing accuracy tests) I've experimented with HE, AP, full salvos, single shots, and it all behaves much in the same way. Top that off with the radical differences in damage, sometimes really low, sometimes really high, I sort of feel absolutely underwhelming. The spread occurs within 5km all the way out to 15km, it makes little difference.Īm I doing something wrong? Are Japanese battleships more 'accurate'? Do the higher tiers of United States ships improve the accuracy? I just sort of feel like it's a pretty big RNG game when my shots from one battery scatter, one goes over the ship, one under the ship, another hits but for only 400 damage, and I have 30 seconds to try again. The problem I've encountered since I've started, though it didn't become noticeable until the New York, is how bad the spread of each batteries' individual barrels are, compared to the cruisers I've been using. I am currently using the New Mexico (Tier VI), four batteries, three barrels each, and I have been using the increased range module with it. Anyway, to the information and questions. If this has been discussed somewhere else, I couldn't find it, and being pointed in the right direction would be appreciated. I'm pretty new to this game, I started with a friend, and I've tried most types of ships to Tier VI, at least. ![]()
